It's been one of those days. I have a Galaxian PCB that WAS working good, but was a little flaky do to bad connections at the satellite board to main board sockets. I replaced the sockets, and also replaced the (2) 10Kuf caps as they were swollen. Now when powered up all I get is garbage on screen, and a high pitch tone. The Galaxian trouble shooter guide says 8D(74LS367) is bad. Should I replace 8D or is there another issue I am missing?
Thanks for any ideas
Aaron

The troubleshooting guide is just telling you what happens when a particular chip is bad/removed. Garbage on screen and a high-pitched tone can be caused by many things. I'd start be thoroughly checking your socket work.
