I've been poking at this galaxian board for a bit now and I got it working finally and now all the words are backwards. I piggy backed 6J per what the guide says and didn't get any change. Though I would ask if anyone else has seen this before I waste more on this board.

Flip the monitor yoke wires.. Brown and green I think..

Negative. That's not a flipped image problem.

Look closely at the posted picture. Things that belong on the left are on the left; the enemies in the score advance table, the word "CREDIT", etc. Things are just quite mixed up, like it says "RCDETI" with individually mirrored letters for "CREDIT". The gfx section of that board has a logic issue... or two... or three.

Are all the ships correct, including when playing the game? Maybe a bad rom image (you can compare them to the mame files), or bad RAM.

Actually it's working fine, it's an ultra rare version made for Dyslexics. :p

I have a guy who works for me that would see this clearly. He swaps numbers around all the time. A bankers job is out of the question for him :)

I agree, looks like a logic problem but it wouldnt hurt to verify the roms. I always verify roms before any troubleshooting is started.

Monitor and everything in the cabinet is good. This is one of many galaxian pcbs ive got. Roms are all good I use them all the time as my test roms. Enemies are all perfect the 'galaxip' is split and the halves are on opposite sides. I may just swap out 6j as the guide suggests and see what happens or just keep probing at things.

Thats actually not backwards...
The word CREDIT is split into 3 blocks. 1[CR] 2[ED] 3[IT]
The blocks seem to come out in the wrong order 3-2-1.

..well that's not important I guess.
