I have a Galaxian on the back burner, it's complete and the cab is pretty solid. It's just that the side and kick plate art have seen better days. It's not as bad as I'm making it sound, but I was just wondering if there are reproductions available? Was the cab painted white and then silk-screened? Or is it a big sticker? I have not looked close enough yet. Hopefully I can fully restore it.

Galaxian had a white woograin vinyl on it that was then silkscreened. That white vinyl is pretty much unavailable from anywhere and at the current time nobody screens that art. It is available from places like MameMarquees as an inkjet print on smooth vinyl tho.

MameMarquees made some MACH 3 side art for me last year, and the printing looks GREAT! I just wish they used a better quality adhesive like the 3M stuff the big dogs use :( My art is constantly peeling off, and I've tried everything. It's a bummer....

bwagner5150 that is not normal... I use a very aggressive adhesive, send me an email offline with your order number, and I can send you a new set out.

The only time I have seen issues like that, is when the surface was not clean or the paint was not allowed to cure properly. A lot of commercial customers use my artwork, and if there were truly pealing issues I would not be in business long.

The next time I print one I can see if I can get a picture of the texture. It is a texture vinyl laminate, not a wood grain. Like you say wood grain laminate is hard to come by. I have seen Leather and canvas grains, but not a true wood grain.

Thanks Scott. PM sent & also forwarded our emails / info from the ordering last year. Let me know..

Much appreciated on the offer to replace it. I love the art...it just doesn't stick, unfortunately.

Thanks
Ben

Re:

I am glad someone actually reproduces the art, I'd be happy with smooth vinyl, but I will definatley order a set of artwork when I get around to working on it.
