There was a guy who put an ad up at 5pm to sell his broken Galaga for 100.
I was 3rd person in line but the frist person to say Yes, I would buy it.
Drove over there to meet him at 7.
He got an offer for 150 from someone and he turn them down becuase he said his word was worth more than 50 dollars.
We talked about lots of things and He wants to buy a 60 n 1 from me later. I am glad I got to this machine before it got converted smiles.

When he ready for his new machine. We will go cab shopping and he will be looking to put his own customize art work on his cab.

One of the nice things you can hear from someone who just sold you a game. I am glad I sold it to you. I know you will take care of it.

Opps pictures.
Sorry about the size I snag them off of CL before he deleted them

As I told the guy over the phone. If your game has just gone off the blink from moving Pull the edge card connector when it's off and clean the fingers.

Well He sold it to me anyways. I pulled the boards. They were loose in the card cage. I saw that someone has piggy back most of the chip into machine sockets and then back into the motherboard. I supect that this socket use to cause issue. I see me replacing chip sockets in the near future.

Back together and now I am playing the game.

There is damage to this cab. It's not made of your typical press wood more like paper. I hope bondo will stick to this I should experiment some where on the back side before fixing all the coner damage.

I wonder if the a shop can polish out the marks on the glass or maybe I just have to look for one.

The glass is shot. The replacement is plexi with the galaga stuff screen printed on the back. You might want to look around for someone selling used original Galaga glass with minor scratching if you want something original, but I'd opt for new plexi.

I wonder if those Safe-Lite guys could fill those scratches with their patented resin. ;)

Couldn't hurt to try.
