Anybody out there up for making a galaga side templete for me out of some cardboard? The curves are too hard to measure out. If someone could lay theirs down on a piece of cardboard and trace it I would pay them for the time, shipping, and cardboard.

thanks

Yes you could trace it with cardboard or butcher paper but the accuracy wouldn't be there. Too many minor variations when tracing. Doesn't this file exist somewhere already?

I really dont want to try and measure one out using the dimensions out there. The curves are just too hard. The easiest thing to do woulld be to trace the side of an original. As to the question of expense. Its only about 100 bucks worth of wood. Galaga cabinets are not too common around here. If I could find and original for 200 bucks in any condition I would jump on it. The fact is they are not. And with 200 bucks I could buy all of the wood a used contol panel and coin door off ebay. I already have a monitor and the side art is cheap enough. If your interested in making me an outline please let me know.

If you're content with a non-original cabinet, I recommend that you find a cheap, converted, repainted Ms Pac cabinet. Strip, repaint, etc.. and I say that because Ms Pacs are more often plywood and in better shape or restorable at least.
