Galaga stuck in endless reboot

Hmmm, my Pole Position II does the same exact thing. I was told the boards were not getting enough voltage.

Can you test you voltage on you board at the test points and see what it is reading? Might be low.

Did you happen to change any of the dipswitches before it happened? That's another issue that can cause it to continually reboot in garbage. Found that out trying to set a friends Galaga machine to Twin Galaxies settings awhile back ;)

Yup... Incorrect DIP Switch settings and any problem with the 2 sub-processor chips will cause the reboot.

The main CPU does the self tests then the reset line goes high for the other 2 Z80s and they start up. If they don't start up and reset the watchdog timer then the watchdog kicks the main CPU in the head and it reboots.

Lather, rinse, and repeat!
