So I have a friend who has a Galaga with some weird issues...
First of all, the power button does not turn the whole game off, it only turns off the monitor - the game still can be started and played with no screen. His marquee light also is dead. Game plays fine when monitor is on, but occasionally resets during play.
Someone put a new power supply in the game and I guess they wired it wrong... I wrote down where they connected the wires to, can someone point me in the direction of how to properly wire a power supply into a Galaga?
It's one of these power supplies (though not that exact brand): http://www.priglmeier.com/arcade_pr...app-switching-power-supply-small-03042010.png
The connections (in order) currently are:
+12V2A to 3 prong CPU molex connector
-5V1A (no wire)
GND (no wire)
GND to 3 prong CPU molex connector
+5V12A to 3 prong CPU molex connector
FG directly tied to green/yellow wire on transformer panel
AC directly tied to short brown wire on transformer panel
AC directly tied to short blue/brown wire on transformer panel
Help! It's pure madness because the game is not at my house and I keep getting calls!
