Hello,

I'm not sure if this would go in the Monitor or General Repair section, so I thought I'd start here.

In the above picture is my isolation transformer out of my Galaga cabinet. I forgot to take pictures before I desoldered all the wires, so I'm having a hard time figuring out which wire goes where for my new power center.

Where does the hot input, neutral input, hot output to monitor, and neutral output to monitor attach?

Here is a pic of my power center:

Thanks! - Pat

The lug labeled "E" (your 5) is for earth ground. The other two on the bottom (3 & 4 in your photo) are the power input. It doesn't really matter which is "neutral" and which is "hot." The output power to the monitor is the top two lugs (1 & 2). Neither one of the outputs is "neutral." Neutral is the leg of a household 120VAC that's tied to earth ground; it has no meaning in the context of the output of isolated 120VAC (that's kind of the point of isolation).

Just a quick Question (Sorry to hijack) looking at that photo, the silver box in the center, Is that a "filter" or a isolation type device already? I ask because I had a cab that I stripped and this was bypassed, cut out, and someone had installed a Huge Isloation transformer next to it.

Yes, that is the line filter from my Galaga. I am just following the Bob Roberts ac wiring help document.

what do you guys think of this center going into a Galaga that's rewired for Jamma? I was going to use all the Galaga parts, because it looks like they have 2 distribution blocks too.
