I want to refurb my Galaga so therefor i want Galaga sideart/kickpanel but i dont want to use the base Galaga CPO. Is there a "multicade" version of the Galaga CPO that is sold? I would like centered joystick and 1 action button along with 2 player select buttons.

Thanks

If you can do some Illustrator work, you could take the original CPO file, move the joystick and fire button artwork around to suit your needs. Buy the $28 multicade CP from Arcadeshop that already has the buttons and put your newly-designed CPO on it and you're done.

Or just stick the non-Galaga-art multicade CPO on that they have...

Anthony at quarter arcade used to carry galaga CP's w/ an extra hole and a 4/8 way joystick hole.

Thanks. Im looking for a centered stick with 1 action button but that looks doable if i can get the stick centered. I cant play ms pac with my left hand :(

I can't play ms. pac with my left hand either. However, I have a dedicated right next store to Galaga. ;)

I'd just get ArcadeShops centered Multicade CP w/ two buttons on each side then go to local arcade and download the vector CPO file from local arcade and edit it and have someone reverse print it on textured vinyl with a solvent ink jet.

I basically did something similar with my Mappy.

Mappy is centered with 1 action button on both sides. I wanted a Galaga Layout with 2 action buttons so the off centered joystick worked out well for me. The Sanwa stick I used even cleared the 2 way slot so I didn't have to open it up to a circle.

Mappy control panels won't fit the other way cause it's too high in the front of it. I had to fill in the gap on my mappy with a strip of wood from the new galaga CP.

I saved the Mappy for restoration so that this machine could be set back to full Mappy Glory.
