Picked up a Galaga a few weeks back, in great overall shape except for the expected swelling on the bottom edges per usual. I've decided to do some minor cabinet repairs to get her looking more presentable in the lineup.

The front bottom edges were too far gone to save with the wood hardener/clamping method, so I decided to cut them back and replace with a new piece of MDF (dowel joined, glued and stapled). There are other areas that I will employ the wood hardener method where it will be easier to clamp, the front corners would have just been too difficult.

My question is…were those front bottom corners of a factory new Galaga rounded, or a perfect square 90 degree angle? My original wood was pretty thrashed and difficult to tell if it was always rounded, or if it was just worn off to a rounded shape over the years. I've looked around a lot and can't really find good clear pictures of this area.
