Was wondering if someone could help me out...

I want to build a Galaga Cabaret as my next machine, but I need some key dimensions.

So far I have 59" tall, 20" wide and 24" deep. That's all I could find on the net.

Key dimensions I still need are the lengths of any and all straight cuts on the oustide, not listed above. And the height of the front panel and the L&W of the CP.

Could someone that has one measure these for me?

I don't need inside dimensions because I will be using my own compoenents.

Thanks a lot!

FWIW, there are 2 different types of Galaga minis...

1. The short marquee version. - The marquee wraps around the top and bottom where the white and black background meet.

2. The tall marquee version. - The marquee is taller (like a ms. pac) and it wraps in the black area making the white background area look letterboxed.

Which one are you looking to repro? I can help with the latter.

Oh did not know that.

I was planning on the first style, (short version) since I can still get that marquee.

Looks like the cabinets are pretty similar, the latter has an extra curve on both side pieces it looks to me? Near the CP overlay...

Appears it would just be a continious straight cut on the short version.

Looks like the radius on the side pieces is larger too on the latter version...

Anyone?

I have a word doc with a photo of the machine and dimensions I need, only 5 of them.

I can pay you for your time...

here is mine...if it is the same post the pic of the measurements you need and I will get them for you.

Andy- That is pretty cool.

Thanks! Im waiting on a speaker grill, coin door inserts, and I have to finish the marquee but this did turn out really nice.

If you are doing one and need the sideart/kick I have some extra!

Oh and the plate for the coin door ;)

Measurements sent ;)

I don't mean to impose, but would you mind sending me the measurements too? I have been looking for a long time but haven't found any cabaret measurements of any kind online. I am dying to build one for a very good friend of mine who can't fit a big machine in his home. I would really appreciate them!
