If it's only an audio issue, then I would say it's worth researching and fixing yourself. I believe common audio issues are - SIP resistor RM2 bad, RAM bad, PROM bad, sockets bad, electrolytic caps bad, etc.

I've tried myself and I even had a solder expert I know (who specializes in pinball, but has fixed boards for me before) try and we can't figure it out. Very frustrating.

Are you using the 3 position molex connector?? If amp has +12 you should hear a hummm when you put a finger on the input pin. If nothing is heard your +12 is missing or amp is bad.
