During the restoration of my recently acquired Galaga mini, I was thrilled to see the factory label on the power section (pictured).

Over the years, there has been discussion about white Galaga cabinets (factory converted Bosconians), and less about what happened to the Bosconian parts. I guess this answers at least part of the question.

Notice the serial numbers. I'm guessing a late Bosconian mini serial number. To think I've been looking for a Bosconian mini wiring harness for 10 years, and all I had to do was get a Galaga mini. 😉

Bosconian mini S/N: 2319
Galaga mini S/N: 1246

They used/reused as many of the Bosconian parts as possible, including the PCBs.

Agreed, but the boardsets weren't serialized and Midway could only reuse the CPU half of the Bosconian boardset.

Marquee, CP, and Bezel were different, so harder to reused those. What's left? Cabinet, Wiring, Joysticks, Buttons, Coin Doors, Coin Buckets, Monitors, Etc.
