Ken Layton is usually the one who answers the monitor questions...lol

My first question (pic #1)
The board with plug #2 does not connect to anything.

Should plug #1 go where plug #2 is (the small board) and then Plug #2 go where plug #1 is currently?

Second pictures are how they had the grounds.

Third pic shows Why pic #2 is irrelevant as the homemade make a plug has no ground on it...lol

4th pic, is where AC in arced and burned the plug/connector, popping a couple of fuses (done before I got it).

Pulled the brick and am going to go through it all and see when the AC in has

Yes. If you need a picture of how the wire colors are orientated, just let me know. My experience is these connectors are not keyed so it's easy to plug them in backwards.

Yes that would be great... can you think of any reason why they wouldnt use that little board?

The little board is an input protection board (tries to keep the input voltage to an acceptable level). Without it, the picture is slightly larger (not necessarily a good thing, as that means the voltages need to swing further back and forth which can stress the monitor more).

They may have bypassed it because there might be a problem with it, but the parts on that board are fairly common and they're easy to repair. It's possible the header solder joints broke on the small board and they're now bypassing it for that reason (fairly common to have bad header solder joints all over the monitor). Also, make sure the small board isn't shorting to the metal frame somewhere.

Does this help?? (note orientation on input board)

Perfect, thanks!
The PS works now, but the PCB must be fried.
The monitor has a dot with a bunch of squiggly lines coming out of it....lol
