I'm visiting the family back in RI and the old Ms Pac Man in the basement has been apparently playing blind. I had Bob ship a G07 repair kit to the house and performed a cap kit today. The monitor now works more or less perfectly and the B+ was dialed in nicely at 121V.

The only issue I have is that the screen is shifted about an inch or so too high, such that the 1UP/2UP High score is partically off the screen.

Since all of the chassis "vertical" adjustments are left/right, I was mildly curious as to how to shift the screen downward just a scoche. I didn't seem to have any luck with the Horz. Freq tune. A minor adjustment either way resulted in a scroll.

Have you tried to adjust the width coil?

I had not as I didn't have a plastic adjustment tool and didn't feel like shorting out all the hard work I had put into getting it running. Am I correct that adjustment would "shrink" the screen vertically rather than shift it up/down?

Have you tried changing the horizontal height jumper? Try moving it one spot down if you haven't already. Keep in mind that if you want to make adjustments "vertically" (ie: moving the high scores lower) you're going to want to adjust the horizontal settings since the monitor is turned on its side for the vertical games.

Besides trying the adjust the width coil, I'd also try lowering the B+ down to 120v from the 121v you have it set at.
