So after doing some research, I've decided to swap out the tube of my G07 because of severe burn in and weak color. I was given a broken 19" TV from the local thrift store, took it apart and looked up the tube number in the BK precision manual and lo and behold it had the same cr-23 socket compatible with the g07 tube!!!! I measured the resistance on the yoke and it didn't match so I knew I had to do a yoke swap. I swapped the yoke from the g07 and installed it on the new tube. Also I kept the same convergence rings. I am following the directions in the manual and cannot even get the convergence on the edges even close. Does anyone have tips or info to help me? I've been fiddling with this for hours.

you will not converge the edges by adjusting the yoke....adjust the yoke so that the center of the screen and the direct area around it is converged. then use the magnet strips to dial in the edges.

Do I use the magnetic strips to get the edges also? I find that I adjust the purity and can get it perfect between tweaking the yoke distance and the twisting the purity rings. I check the purity for all three colors. Next I can get the center converged using the rings on the neck. The interactive effect with the edges though is driving me nuts because when I get the center perfect, I can then tilt the yoke, but it doesn't seem like the strips affect anything but the corners.
