Hi there everyone, looking for some suggestions for fixing my G07 chassis. I bought a converted Mr. Do's castle cocktail table from an auction. The game plays blind, the monitor would not fire up at all, no neck glow, 0 voltage at either side of test point R1. As a flow chart suggested i tested R2 and it was indeed open, replaced and no change. I tried a suggestion from Bob Roberts to dangle a jumper to the back end of F1 and if it sparks to suspect the flyback which it did (and blew the fuse!). So at this point I replaced the flyback, the fuse, filter cap, did a cap kit, replaced the HOT and VR. I also removed and tested the B+ pot and it was working fine. When I powered it on the B+ was about 45v at one end of R1 and 51v or so at the other. The flow chart says the filter cap might be bad in this situation. So now I've swapped it with it's original a couple of times with no change to the voltage (currently have the new one installed). After staring at the thing for hours I noticed a shattered and shorted transistor (the Beam Limiter), and thought AHA!! Anyways, after replacing that there is still no change to the voltage! I assume there must be a short still somewhere leaching my voltage but I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start. Should I start at the AC line in and work my way forward from there, checking components or well, I don't know what else. If you guys and gals have any ideas I'd love to hear them, thanks so much for reading!
