EDIT: May be a boardset issue. See post #3.

As shown here:

Every once in a great while, it will synch to where it should be but, for the most part, it's the slow crawl and not just of the 'pede.

I swapped the vert for the horiz pots with no change. Reflowed all connection pins. Caps, HOT, voltage regulator all replaced.

Assistance, por favor.

TIA!

I have one with the same issue that I was never able to figure out.

Ugh.

UPDATE:

This is happening on a working Centi board from a KLOVer. The boardset I had, which won't read tracball input, syncs fine.

Cleaned the edge connectors to no change. . .

:(

I had a G07 chassis repaired and after hooking it up, it wouldn't sync. Sent it back and he said a couple of the transistors where the video cables plug in had a leg or two broken and it was easy to do...so you may want to check that.

After more testing, I'm going with this being a boardset issue and am moving this thread over to the general category.

The boardset also appears to have had work done in the video output circutry section as I looked it up on the schematics and was going to go tinker there - only to find it already had been messed with.

Sigh. . .

Same issue..

I've had the same issue with my Time Pilot and all GO7s.. Can't get the crawl to stop.. Doesn't matter how much I adjust it, it never holds for long.. If all..

My fix: replaced it with a k7000. Works fine now. Came with a 4600 originally

And yes, I tried multiple go7 chassis and tubes with the TP.. All had the same problem. Maybe a Centuri thing?
