I just got my wacko with a non stop scrolling screen (vertically)

so I just went and changed the chassis with a known working chassis, same thing!!!!!!!!

I am thinking the last guy may have had it sync'd wrong. don't really know.

what else could cause this? being aware that I just changed the chassis to a rebuilt one.

I shot some pics of the monitor wires.

The 3 pin is wired wrong from what I see in the pic

Should be vio/tan, gray, blk as you have the connector.

so from left to right on the chassis from the back of hte monitor

vio/tan, gray, black?

plug

With plugs off i would start with ohming out the grounds and make sure you know which one is ground on the 3 pin plug. 6 pin looks okay.
Then put the ground on the right pin. which is the ground for that spot. or leave it off since you already have a ground.
make sure your syncs are on the two left spots.

Okay, let's make sure that it is wired up correctly.

G07 (Looking at it from the back)

J3 -H, J2 -V, J1 Gnd

E6 +H, E5 +V, E4 Gnd, E3 B, E2 G, E1 R

Wacko J2
Pin 1 R @ E1
Pin 2 Gnd @ E4
Pin 3 G @ E2
Pin 4 Gnd @ J1
Pin 5 B @ E3
Pin 6 Gnd @ J1
Pin 7 key
Pin 8 -H @ J3
Pin 9 -V @ J2

Chase your wires and make sure that they connect as listed above.

ok, based on that.

the 3 pin sync should be from left to right

black, grey, violet/tan

I am going to go try that.
