G07 - repaired cracked neckboard and now it won't sync

G07 was working (in a Centipede game) when the neckboard cracked. I pulled it out and replaced the monitor in the Centipede. Now I want to use this monitor in another game so I repaired the neckboard and put it in a Mr. Do's Castle game and I can see the picture but it won't sync. I wired up the Horz Sync to Pin 1 and the Vert Sync to pin 2 on the G07 but nothing I do can get it to hold steady.

Any ideas?

I basically want to get this Mr. Do's Castle game out of here for dirt cheap but it will move easier with a working monitor. Help! :) Thanks guys.

Edit: I may be numbering the pins wrong. But HSync is on the pin on the end and VSync is on the 2nd pin from the end. I know the RGB are all in the right places.

How did it break? Might there be a broken joint someplace?

Snapped in half while moving the game. Possibly...but I'm suspecting I hooked something up wrong. I'm confused by this page of the Mr. Do's Castle manual. The diagram shows HSync and VSync hooked up at the same time as the Composite sync being hooked up on the other plug. But the note says to disconnect CSync when H & V Sync are being used. What does this mean? Do I need both? Or not?

If you're wondering whether it's the monitor or the connection, connect another monitor to it...

Well I took a monitor out of it and it was working. But the other monitor was a composite sync monitor and I'm trying to stick this one in. I don't have a spare one unfortunately.

Ah ha....got it working. I hooked up the composite sync tied together on the 3-pin connector and removed the vert and horz sync from the other one and it popped right in. I'll need to flip the yoke wires since the picture is upside-down but otherwise I'm good. Thanks guys!

If anyone is interested in seeing the broken flyback patched back together I can take a pic for you. It's not much to see really though.
