So, I thought I was finally done fixing my pac-man, it withstood hours of standby, and play. But I go in the arcade just 30 minutes ago to find the game having a garbled screen. Upon further inspection, the game is playing fine, but there is a very high speed vertical scroll(Technically Horizontal I guess) So I mess with the pots on the monitor board, nothing. Keep cycling power. It comes up completely fucked up(Due to the pots I messed with) Fixed the pots. Game is good. Okay. Go away from 5 minutes, come back, same garbled vertical scroll. What is causing this?

Sorry,
Info about the monitor:
Original out of this pac-man, cap kit was done to it to fix picture, and it stopped powering on.
I received it non-working. Combing through the board to find that the 25A Fuse was blown, and that C905 was never replaced, and had a corroded leg. After replacing that cap and fuse, it worked perfectly. Hooked it up to pacman and played awesome! Has a great picture too. Now just randomly that vertical scrolling happens, seems to be nothing to indicate why it would happen.

Thanks for the info, Dok. That is the HA11244 correct?

So after reading up a little more, and looking at my board, I see that someone did a Sync mod on the C303. I assume that might be causing the problem, because I've replaced all the other caps once more, and I still have the same problem. Anybody know the original value of C501 so I can revert the mod? Thanks guys.

It is in the manual, but I highly doubt that is causing your problem. Sync mod is specifically for games such as Pacman or Ms Pacman on the GO7.
