Got a call from my old boss that wanted to know if I could look at someones pacman cocktail since I like playing and fix some arcades. Backstory is he got it off ebay and it worked fine for a few days then he had problems with it resetting itself and the guy sent him another board and wiring harness and he has the same problem with the other board. He only replaced the board not the wiring harness. I look over the wiring harness that the guy sent and it is in bad shape compare to what he has in it already. He does not want to send it back and figures maybe I can help him out. Machine looks nice as hell looks original and clean. Pcb connector is clean looks almost brand new inside. The connector on the board is even clean and shiny.
For the monitor problems it is a g07 has a nice clean picture for the hour or so we was playing it and after keeping it on for that time it slowly fades away to nothing (within 20 secs) and the monitor will not come back on. He says after it sits overnight it will turn back on and he it able to play it till it does it again. Just wondering what should I give him for advice or help him out. Since all the caps are original on the pacman board and the g07 figure pacman cap kit and a g07 deluxe kit and a new fuse holder.
What do you all think??
