Here is a thread for reference:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=85777&highlight=g07+distortion
Unfortunately the pictures are long gone there.
I have my monitor in the vertical position, but I will describe it in the standard horizontal position for easy reference. The screen bends in at the very top, and the top 1/4" or so slants to the left. The bend is kind of a trapezoidal effect. There is also a lighter streak horizontally in the middle of the screen. It is barely even noticeable. I did a tube swap from a TV. Direct swap because the yoke was exactly the same ohms.
I have tried to adjust the distortion out and can make it a bit better. The light area kind of looks like magnetism, but isn't getting better with repeated power ups/downs over a few days. I also did a cap kit with no change.
Back to that thread, that cap value Ken talks about intrigues me. Without the pictures though, I have no clue if his problem is the same as mine.
I can take pictures if that helps.
