I have this G07 I have been working on. Replaced the Flyback, HOT, VR, new capkit, replaced a few bad diodes, and swapped out IC1. B+ sitting at 119.9V. Can't get past this screen. FWIW, this is with the screen(brightness) most of the way down. Also does this with another CRT as well. The top of the width coil seems to be a bit loose, but still very well intact. Tried to search some G07 repair logs, but there aren't many out there that I can find.

i've seen bright white screen's produced by the trace's getting damaged around the flyback...put your meter on continuity and test on the backside from each of the flyback pins to the furthest point on the board....i think pin 7 produced a bright white screen for me by the trace getting damaged.

I'll check this out and see how it goes. By the look of it, this chassis may have been through a lot.

Been checking around in that area and noticed C522 is shorted. Removed from circuit and it tested OK, but there is a short between the pads. I don't even see C522 in the parts list of the G07. Can anyone confirm if this should be?

That can also be caused by some neckboard resistors opening, and also there's a couple transistors in the blanking circuit that can make it do that.

Found my old flyback. Pin 4 and 5 on that showed continuity, so that would explain the short in C522.

Checked out that area and didn't find much. R308 had an 8K ohm resistor in there where the schematic shows it should be 10K. Also X303 is an A1015 where the schematic shows it should be a 2SA673. There also seems to be some mods on the under side. Don't know if they are factory or done after the fact.

Did you check X303 and X304 to see if they were working?

OK, I replaced X303 and X304, still the same. I pulled X102,04, & 06. Accoring to the matic, they should be A673. But they are actually A1015 in there and seems to be some sort of mod done. Can anyone tell me if this is factory and what the proper transistor I should put in there. Here is the mod.
