I have a G07 that was in a dead Centipede cabinet that I bought a couple of months ago. I ordered a flyback repair kit and a regulator from Bob Roberts in early June and installed the parts. I got nothing other than what I assumed was a fuse blowing at that time, and walked away from it a while because I didn't want to troubleshoot any more.
Today, I finally pulled the monitor out of Centipede and checked the fuses which were fine. Then I hooked it to my Pole Position cab, and got nothing. After trying for about 30 minutes, I finally decided to pull the chassis. Now I can see the new flyback is cracked. I'm almost certain that I installed all the caps right and the transistors, but is there something I should check before assuming I got a bad flyback?
At this point I'm wondering if it would be easier to just get a working chassis, as my luck with monitors seems to have run out.
