I second that. The G07 I just redid had bad voltages and 9012 was bad. Had a hard time getting those diodes local too. Good luck.

i did check it
it did not drop the range it should have
so woudlnt it need replacing?


did have a question how to test hot and reg transistors

they both only have a 2 leg package so what would the casing be base ???

actually datasheet just answered the question.

old reg was bad but new one seems fine 504

901 is fine

r908 is fine

guess there no more ideas?

trying to undestand what would cuase the +b is so high 156 157 158 area
with a +b so high will it cuase no glow?
cause shut down?

tested 901 and 902 as stat before one does not drop as it should . so ill try replacing that
all resistors i have tested so far have tested good.

the regulaotr was bad and was replaced along with a complete rebuild kit from bob
nothign seems a miss so far except for the drop on the x901

^ This. I figured you would have changed it out by now since you found it out of spec. If it's still not working correctly after changing it out, try resoldering the entire power supply circuit.

I'm currently dealing with a G07 that I can't get over 117VDC. It otherwise works great, but I should be able to adjust it a lot higher than that. I'm sure it's something simple, I just haven't troubleshooted it properly yet.
