Working on a G07 and I believe it is going into shutdown and have not been able to figure out what to do next. Heres whats going on.

Did a cap kit from BR.
Replaced the pots from BR.
Replaced the flyback and HOT from BR.
Powers up with 120VDC B+ on the white ceramic resistor.
When checking the voltage on the case of the HOT the meter keeps resetting.
Im getting a high pitch whine out of the chassis.
No picture, no neck glow.
I pulled X701 with no change.
Checked R908 and it is within range.
Double checked all the caps and they are aligned correctly.

I think thats about it. Next is to start checking all 900's on the chassis. Any other things I can check?

Thanks.

No neck glow is where I would start first. Find the black and white wires near the flyback and check for continuity from chassis to neckboard. If you do, follow the circuit on neckboard to socket

Thanks. Checked all those out and they look good.

I did notice that the width coil was snapped. Pulled it out and will get a replacement. I did power the monitor up without it (which may be totally stupid). I now get 130B+ which is not adjustable, no whining or ticking, but still no picture.

Ill get that width coil in there then start testing the voltages on the neck board.

So, an update on this chassis.

I replaced X901 and X902, installed a new width coil. After that started getting regular voltages but no glow on the neck. Could here the static of the monitor fire up and a high pitch from the chassis. After doing some random searches I found some references to the voltage from the flyback to the heater including L504. Looked at L504 and one of the posts was broken off. Pulled one from a donor board and dropped it in and it came up perfectly.

Next problem is trying to get it to sync with my Track and Field.

Thanks for all the help.
