Hi guys;
I've got a G07-FBO (13") that I'm trying to get a good picture on. I did a capkit, replaced the flyback, and checked the B+, I'm at 119.6v.
The monitor looks good, I just can't get enough width out of it. There's an extra inch, inch and a half on the sides; I figured it was low B+ but it's dead on. Also I tried switching cap c515 with a couple of lower values, and it didn't make any difference at all in the width! I don't see how that's possible, but that's what happened.
Is there a component in that circuit that could be holding that width down like that? The width coil is nice, and works well, I just only get about an inch of adjustment out of it and that's not enough to fill the screen.
If I turn the flyback WAYYYYY up, the screen blooms enough that it almost fills the screen, but of course it has tons of retrace lines through it etc. and you can't use it like that. It's probably also spiking the B+ through the roof.
Any ideas on what I can check?
