Looking at cap lists for this monitor, there are two bipolar 3.3uF 50V bipolar caps listed.

On my chassis, which has never been serviced, one of the 3.3 uF bipolar positions (on the list) is a 1uF 50V bipolar cap, while the other position is not a bipolar cap at all but rather a 10uF 50V polarized cap, and the silkscreen is marked as such that it should be a regular polarized cap (has both the + marking on the bottom silkscreen and the circle on the parts side indicating the negative pole).

What should I use in these spots?

I would venture you bought a cap kit from APAR. if you're using a CBO one though I can understand your confusion on the issue. I don't remember the cap differences now, I might have a sheet at work if you can wait a day.

I'm guessing.......this chassis HAS been serviced. Trust the cap kit and list.

No, I have a whole bunch of Nichicon caps on hand and I used them. I'm going by the caps list for the FBO model on juniorsrevenge.com.

Maybe, but none of the solder looks shiny or reworked where the caps were and several had leaked and corroded the the solder side of the board to the point that the solder mask was falling off and the solder was dried up and crusty. Also, this machine has sat in someone's home for 40 years or more, the monitor has practically no burn due to not being on for hours at a time, etc.

Found this old thread...which matches my FBO chassis exactly.

I remember that thread, and likely have seen the cap listing on your fbo. I would still go with the caps in an apar kit, with confidence.
