I have a PC10 Countertop that I picked up a G07 902 with a FB0 chassis. When I hook it up, I get nothing be scrambled, rolling video. The FB0 is not labeled feel and I can not find it in the manual (I'm sure it IS there, but I am overlooking it - it has been that kind of day) of which pins are for Blue, Red, Green, etc. Could I be inserting the damn plug wrong? I can not put it on any other way, but could the wiring on the PC10 and this chassis be backwards? Or, what else could it be?

Well, we could probably combine this with your other thread about the monitor in this game.

Anyway, The PC10 countertop I had also had the FBO in it, but it was already set up so I didn't look at it much as far as the wiring. I do know that the original Sanyo monitors in the uprights connect to the monitor in a different order than the G07 does. The Sanyo monitors connect like this:

1: Green
2: Red
3: Blue
4: Ground
5: Ground
6: Sync

I couldn't tell you if the wiring from the PC10 uses the same order in the countertop.

The G07 has two rows of connectors - a 6-pin and a 3-pin:

1: Red
2: Green
3: Blue
4: Ground
5: Positive Vertical Sync
6: Positive Horizontal Sync

1: Ground
2: Negative Vertical Sync
3: Negative Horizontal Sync

You'd need to check to see what your connector is set up for as far as colors, ground, and sync as it comes from the game board, then see how it is connected to the monitor...

This is the same problem I am having, with this monitor but with a 60 n 1 board and a jamma harness. I've tried many combinations of wiring with the connectors but the best I can get is the rolling scrambled video.

Totally different issue.

GO7's have known sync issues with xx-1 boards. Hook it up to a different monitor make and model.

No, no, no. I use 60's with G07's all the time. At worst you'd get some curl, and the newest 60's don't seem to do even that anymore.

If you haven't recapped the monitor yet, you should do that first. then connect the video signal like this:

1 - Red
2 - Green
3 - Blue
4 - Ground
5 - Empty
6 - Empty

1 - Empty
2 - Sync
3 - Sync

Make sure dip switch #2 on the game board is off. Are you using a JAMMA harness or an adapter? You may need to adjust the holds once it's powered up...

I am using a jamma harness, the harness I have has a 5 pin connector on it for the monitor connection. I always have to cut the connector off and reattach a plug that will fit on a 6 and 3 monitor connector setup.
the 6 pin connector is set up as below, the 3 pin I've set up every combination I can think of. Left pin, right pin, middle pin, connect 2 pins to one wire, etc.
Seems no matter which connector I do it still has problems. The 60 board is one of the new ones, and I've also been using a jamma bowling board and getting the same result. I've been turning the holds like a fiend but to no avail.
I have a cap kit on order but I was hoping to get this figured out before I did that.
