G07 f901

It is the small pigtailed fuse to the right the biggest cap on the chassis……

Thanks Z, I found it...

F901 Not blow, NO neck glow, NO picture, 2 [count them, 2] identical G07 monitors NOT working and an arcade that is EATING monitors.

Also killed a WG7000 class monitor...

Arrrgh!

What game is it in?
Are you getting ac into the chassis through an isolation transformer?

Classic Pac Man

And yes [to my read and understanding...] the chassis IS powered through an iso trans.

Sure is eating up monitors.

So, let's just say something were [crossed?] what would be wrong with a G07 that had these symptoms after, say, a direct 120 connection?

Anyone?

Thanks,
Saltbreez

Should not kill a K7000 class monitor though...

Make SURE you are running it through an iso transformer....follow the wires back to it. If you do not use an isolation transformer you will most likely fry the rectifier diodes D901 through D904, or the voltage regulator…… K7000 is the same deal....

Will that give NO GLOW on the neck?

Are you getting high voltage? Ie the screen "crackle" when you turn the machine on?

There are a LOT of threads on high voltage shutdown for a G07. I think the BIGGER question right now is WHY your game has done this to three monitors? You MUST make sure that your 120VAC coming into the chassis is coming FROM AN ISOLATION TRANSFORMER!!!
