I've got a g07 chassis that has developed a vertical line down the centre of it.

The monitor had had a cap kit flyback and HOT installed and was working for a few weeks before this happened.
B+ is at 120v but I did notice that the adjustment pot had to be turned completely in one direction. Not sure if this is related.

Also I have tested another chassis in this game and it does not have this problem.

Any ideas on what I should check.

You have lost horizontal deflection. You don't normally see this if you have a catastrophic failure of the horizontal section, as it usually goes into shutdown when that happens.

Your issue is most likely a cold solder joint. Inspect the area around the horizontal width coil and the yoke connector. Make sure you have the red and white wires of the yoke connector on yoke pins 1 and 4. The brown and grey wires (vertical) should be on pins 3 and 5. The order depends on whether your tube is mounted properly. Usually I see red (empty) grey white brown...

I think you're right on the money.
I just had a quick look at the width coil and only one end is attached. I'll install a new width coil and report back with the results.

Why not just reattach it? I fixed a K7000 last night that had a hole burned in the board at the width coil and one leg completely gone. I attached a piece of wire, jumpered it to the trace it was supposed to be connected to, and it worked just fine...
