Hello All,

I just got done doing my first cap kit on a G07. It was fairly easy. Anyways the monitors colors and blacks look amazing....but the whole picture is just rotated clockwise a touch. How do I adjust this out? Also I swapped in this G07 out of my Dads centipede so he could play pac man cause his 4600 completely died and I don't have the setup to work on that mess lol.

Thanks
Ted

You likely bumped the yoke and rotated it a bit on the tube. Rotate it back to correct the image.

Easier to do when the monitor is running, but you can make the adjustments with the monitor off if you feel you need to shut it off.

Oh ok. Do you know of a good thread on adjusting or turning the yoke? I am just wondering how to go about turning the yoke that's all.

You don't really need to read a thread - just power down the game, grasp the yoke by the largest diameter plastic (closest to the tube glass), and turn it. You should be able to square up the image no problem.

Grip it and rip it.....that I can do!! Lol

Thanks for your help

Ok so tried reaching up and turning the yoke and it won't turn. I am going to try some more today. Is there something that like "unlocks" it and allows it to turn freely?

OK I got a picture of it and when I look today it looks like not the whole picture is turned. I looked around and saw that someone had this same issue on a Ms pac and they fixed it by changing C518 and C517 to 1000uf 25v. I have 1000uf 35v on hand those till work right? The voltage is just the max the cap can take right?

I know I just got in back in the machine and adjusted it up and both my dad and I were like wow that cap kit did wonders. Makes me what to rip out the G07s in my super pac and BurgerTime and cap them! haha. I am just wanted to see what it would take to get it squared up. I really don't want to pull it all part and mess something else up. lol

By the way, did you replace the flyback on that G07?

50/50 shot on blowing the flyback on a recapped G07 chassis. Not good odds.

Ask me how I know.... :D

Good call, man, good call.

I took a risk on my Dad's Missile Command upright a few weeks back. Capped his chassis for him for Father's Day, as well as swapped the tube. Also installed the braze multi-game.

Game played great for 4 days, then *poof*

Serves me right for not changing the fly.

Good ol' Chad at arcadecrt.com hooked me up, though ;)
