ok on to my g07
plug it up and nothing pulled bolth f901 and f902 bolth meter ok reinstalled and reflowed all solder joints on the pcb
pulled the white resitor at r1 and it meters at a little shy of 220 ohms
reinstalled and pluged the monitor back in
testing voltages at where power comes in i get 127 v
testing voltages at r1 here is where i get confused ok if i test from far side of r1 to chassis im getting around 5.xx v
checking from close side of r1 to chassis i get 5.xx volts
(am i metering this right using chassis as ground )
ok so i double checked the vr and hot metering from caseing to chassis i get a reading that bounces from like 222.xx to ofl so they seem to meter good
what next
i did notice a big blue cap that has ben bridged from far leg of r1 to the screw that holds r1 in place this cap is not on my working g07 (tried metering it without that cap connected with the same results)
