Anybody familiar with the G07-CAO? Not the typical CBO. Picture looks good for the most part except for a bit of a curl around the edges (doesnt look like the normal G07 curl issue either). Top left edge curls down, bottom left edge curls up, bottom right edge curls up (thats harder to get a pic of).

Prior to me, chassis has been capped (including filter cap), flyback has been changed. I had to clean the B+ pot and bump it up a few volts but it made no difference. Ideas?

is that the "top" of the tube? did you try adjusting H. Freq?

It could have the incorrect value caps installed. It'll be time-consuming, but you need to determine if all of the caps are the correct values.

Show us pictures of the chassis. If it was capped 15 years ago , new caps may be a fix.

I think you can swap in a g07 cbo if necessary.

It looks like the same style flyback that's available now was installed. Some of the caps look good, some of them look like cheaper quality replacements, a couple were not replaced. I will do a proper cap kit and report back. Good to know about the CBO compatibility, wasn't sure on that.

Resolved. Installed an APAR kit and found the following issues with the previous work:

C520 was supposed to be 1uf but it had a 3.3uf in its place.
C570 was supposed to be a 470uf but it had a 100uf in its place.
Most caps were cheap Richey/Lelon garbage

Picture now looks great.
