yes, that's the first thing I try, turn down the screen voltage. Looks like you can see the bases on the bottom of the screen or is that screen burn? I'm guessing your game board isn't putting any video out if the turning down the screen voltage doesn't help. Always check the simple things first, connectors good, monitor video wires hooked up correctly? Do you have another monitor you can try to verify? If you need help fixing/testing the game board I can help with that. Not to busy right now but will be unavailable for the month of March.

Tried the screen up and down, nothing. That is in fact screen burn that you see. Replacing x105 and 6 on main board now.....

as per the flowchart, it's calling for X303 and X304. guessing this is a blanking issue. when you capped the chassis you did also reflow the signal headers too right? those are almost always cracked. if the ground pin is cracked you'll have no video signal that way either. :)

if you're able to get a picture you'll probably have to adjust the neckboard pots to white balance it. one step at a time though.

Thanks for all the response. I had to take a break from demon g07 for a bit. Tonight however I switched out the chassis with a known working one. I got a picture, game played. so I know the pcb is OK and the tube is OK. I did check the DMM with another on batteries and they all check out. I think the board not booting put no load on the ar2-03 until i pushed on the chips and it booted and the reading on the dmm reflected that. So I have a good ar2-03, PCB and tube :) Will be back at this bastard in a few days and post updates.

Thanks again for all help.

Will start on that next....

if you have to press on chips to get the game to boot then you should probably go ahead and reseat all the chips on the board. any game I work on at locations, I do this. if it's a game where I know it has single wipe sockets, I'll pull all the chips and make sure the legs are straight. with single wipes crooked legs can be a problem apparently, cause I've fixed broken games just by doing that. :) the crooked legs are no fault of my own when I pull them; it's always the last guy's fault. ;)

this is a good exercise for you though if you haven't done any heavy duty repairs yet. you'll be a G07 master in no time.
