This problem has been present since I have owned the monitor and curious if anyone can give me some information.

I have three different chassis and the problem is displayed the same on all three.

There is a black blob that causes the image to bow away from it that is located on the right side of the monitor. This makes it impossible to move the image so that it touches the right side of the screen. When I turn the horizontal frequency up, I can see the black blob clearly.

Any clue or hint of things to try would be great.

Thanks!

if you have tried three chassis on this same tube with the same results my guess is the yoke has an issue.

Security0001, that is what I am thinking, but I cannot find any information about what kind of damage this is.

:/

it seems like the same area so its something probably in the winding and not fixable and would have to have the yoke replaced is my guess. you could check the ohm readings on the V and H winding and see if they are out of spec compared to original.

If you are brave enough to attempt to swap the yoke PM me and let me know. I have a couple G07 yokes sitting here you can have.

have you replace the caps and flyback on any of them?

strange that is on all 3 of them

it does seem like a yoke issue but until you can confirm the chassis on another tube/yoke you will not know for sure.

Peace

UPDATE

i just swapped out the monitor, and it has the exact same issue :?!!!

Three different chassis,
Two different monitors,
4 different video sources,

All show that black blob on the bottom right.

Any ideas?
