This is following a general rebuild. As such, I didn't test this chassis before rebuilding it.
As soon as I turned it on, I had this huge electrical arc in the neckboard. At first I thought it was a broken socket, so I replaced it with one from a TV. Which looks weird, BTW, the new tech with the old monitor....
And then I hooked it up again, and it promptly cooked my tube.
Thinking I somehow had a bum tube (since it gets moved around a lot) I used my good cocktail tube setup, and the arcing started again. Hopefully I stopped it before it killed the tube.
I marked the original socket, thinking I might be able to fix it. If I'm looking at it correctly, it's the G2 voltage pin.
