I thought I would start a new thread as the issue I am having is somewhat different. I have a know good game board and the game is playing blind. The issue I was having in the past was that the spot killer was on. I have installed the bob roberts cap kit with xsitors and installed the DB100 bridge rectifier aslo reflowed al the connectors on the board. The board is an g05-802 version 5 board. the R100 and R101 resitors are not on the board as it is the upgraded board.

I start the game and the monitor starts up. I can see the neck tube glow for about 5 seconds and then it dims to nothing. There does not apear to be any damage on the board, all fuses are ok, and the spot killer does not come on. (well only for a second as the monitor starts up, but goes away). I shut down and then start up again and the montor seems to start up but there is no neck glow anymore.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do next to get this monitor to start up????

Neck

The 6.3v AC for the neck heater comes directly from the power brick. It is the same power source for the coin lights. Do the coin lights work? Do they go away when the neck heater goes away?

I powered it up tonight and did not see any lights on the coin door. That does not mean anything I have not seen them light up yet and have not tested the lights. I did double check to see that all the fuses on the monitor and the power brick are in good shape and test positve. Can you give me a little more as to what the voltages to the montor are and what pins to test for those voltages? I will then test them and see if that leads me to the answer.
Thanks
