I've been having a minor blooming problem on my G05 802 monitor so I checked around and it seems that the culprit is usually the HV rectifier diode. I've looking around for the H1812 and nobody seems to have them anymore. Finally I called Zanan electronics and they said thay had one available. It arrived and it is a ECG 505 instead. Is this compatible? It seems like the voltage is quite a bit lower, 30KV on the original vs 21.4 KV on the new one.

Will this be safe to use?

OK, I just got the one from arcadeshop.com and it is a H1800. I can't find a datasheet for this one, does anyone know if it will work as a replacement in my G05 802?

Mitch

I decided to go ahead and try it and now with the H1800 it looks worse.:(

Does anyone know of a place that actually has H1802 rectifier diodes in stock?
