I got my 801 working tonight, by very cleverly replacing the entire deflection board and regulator. Amazing how well that worked.
Anyway, on to my question. According to the schematics, the deflection board should have a pair of pico-fuses, one for each deflection output. On my deflection boards, both have been replaced with jumpers, and there are a pair of inline fuses in the yoke harness. Was this a mod, or did they ship this way?
The 801 manual just lists the fuses as 2-amp pico fuses. Should they be fast or slow-blow?
Thanks!
Jim
