Ok.. was given this monitor to repair ( G05-801 )
had been sitting un-used for over 10 years in a machine a friend just bought
looks like some one had tryed to repair the high voltage cage OMG .. wrong diodes ..
replaced with correct items.. then found the Voltage Doubler was dead.. replaced it
Been testing monitor over the last few days , working up the time left on each time..
got up to the 1 hour test & OMG screen went west then north with a horizontal collapse then back to full screen
then i had just gotten to it in time to shut it down..
not game to turn it back on.. looking for advice..
Thinking i need change the 4 x bottle cap transistors ?
any other tips will be great
