Yeah, it took me a while to figure out the best configuration. I had planned on getting two diner booths and having them back to back along that wall. Eventually, I realized either a "U-booth" or a L-booth would work best. If I would've used a U-booth, it would've restricted a lot of space behind the bar Stools. This L booth works perfectly, I'm able to have eight games up against the back of it, and 6 to 7 people can fit in the booth, plus 2 chairs can be added to the outside if needed.I had a chance to get a booth like that when I lived in California. But I didn't have a wall to put it against. I never considered that it can *BE* the wall.
Great job!

Not 'closed off,' 'cozy.' It's 'cozy.' Looks great, wouldn't change a thing. And here's a pic of the booth before the light and after the light. My son figured it would be a little too closed off feeling with such a large light fixture.
Back when we were kids, if we had a sleep over with all those games . . . we would have never slept.Rayce's 14th birthday party! It's amazing to think that his first birthday party in here was his 6th. Here we are 8 years later and the arcade is still being used for birthdays. Sadly, all the machines were on before I came down to take this picture, but they turned them off to set up the beds for the night. Oh well, it was fun seeing and hearing them all play games for a couple hours anyway. And bonus, they get to sleep in the arcade all night! How many of us would've killed to do this as a kid?
So this is interesting. This is literally what I was looking for last October. U-shaped booth in the correct colors and material. One year later, it gets posted on marketplace for cheap. I would've so bought this had I not already built the L shaped booth.Yeah, it took me a while to figure out the best configuration. Can you pencil me in for when the Rockford Files comes on?Oh and in upstairs news, we decided that we needed a more comfortable couch for the living room. We used to have the leather recliner furniture in here that I moved down to the theater, then we tried moving in the newish sleeper sectional that we used to have downstairs for guests. While it worked OK for a few weeks, after a few months, we realized how uncomfortable it really was for every day use. It also didn't have room for very many people, 4 tops. We decided as a family we needed to get a new couch for the living room. My wife and oldest son went furniture shopping and happened upon this $6000 behemoth. Three electronic recliners, a nice chaise lounge-type corner and a snack console. It's all leather and I think it fits this room perfectly. We can finally have more than four people sitting and watching TV and everybody's comfortable for once. The only problem is now that my wife likes the furniture, she's actually in here watching her shows a lot more often, so we almost have to have a sign-up sheet to schedule the TV time for everyone.
