So here's something I haven't seen yet. I am trying to get the K4900 in my new Karate Champ running and following the flow chart from Randy From. First step is to check F501 as I have no power, and I found this. It appears to be a fuse clipped onto the axial fuse at F501. This fuse pictured gives me the continuity beep but the axial fuse on the chassis does not, granted I have not tested it pulled yet.

Just never seen this and was kind of thrown off.

I've seen these before. They're used as a quick way to bypass a blown fuse which has the solder pigtails. Just clip it onto the blown fuse and install a new fuse on top of it.

operator buddy of mine was just telling me about those. He used to buy them from wico. He wishes he could find more. I found a link to someone who sells them, but they are out of stock.

I was looking for pigtail fuses for f901 on g07 the other day. I found something like that at a surplus store, but meant to be soldered into the pigtail holes. but they are designed for a slot hole and not a round hole and are just a hair too wide to fit without a mod. I did find some clips to hold a 5x20 fuse using the side slots on f901. I installed them and I was going to test it today, but I got distracted.

anyone have a source for 1.25a fast blow pigtails at a good price?
