FUNSPOT - Weirs Beach, NH

good point, gary. every time i dip downstairs into the other two floors they're always swinging with a lot of people at the various machines.

I will be at Funspot for a few hours sometime during the week of July 24th. I am looking forward to my second trip--I'm hoping the Quantum is up and running this year (it was out of service on my last visit!).

What a great place, crowded or not.

Hey Gary,

I saw the tail end of American restoration. That was an awesome job they did on that boat. Is that boat now on display at Funspot?

Did any of you happen to see American Restoration http://www.history.com/shows/american-restoration last night on The History Channel? Funspot owner, Bob Lawton was on there getting the kiddie boat ride restored. He purchsed this ride 50+ years ago.

I didn't know about it until it was half over, so I only saw the end. How did he end up getting on the show? Las Vegas is quite a drive from New Hampshire to have something restored. Definitely will watch for it again, I'm sure it'll be repeated over and over (like most of their other shows ;) )
