Went to Funspot today as I do each year. Wow, were things in order. First, the vector games were great, the monitors rocked. I have never played so many vectors that looked so good. They have added many machines since the last time I was here in 2011. I played some of my "grails" and many others that I love but either can't afford or find. The EM pins were all in great shape and played perfect. I spoke to Gary, the manager of ACAM and he provided an insight to how things work on an everyday basis in such a huge arcade. They maintain over 500 classic vids and at least that many redemption machines, a bowling alley and newer arcades with just two techs. I wish I lived closer; but feel lucky to visit at least a couple of times each year. Truly a flash back to the golden era of arcades. Hundreds of vids and pins with 80s sounds flowing brings me back to the arcades of my youth. If ever there is an opportunity to visit FUNSPOT make the effort as you will be rewarded. I took a few pictures but they really don't do it justice. Thanks again Gary and the people that keep ACAM going.
