Funspot - Any good hotels near fun spot and the boardwalk?

Looking for a nice place to stay at Funspot this summer. Something within walking distance to the arcade, boardwalk and beach. Any suggestions?

I've stayed at the Cozy Inn, Lakeview House & Cottages twice. It was decent both times. They have a large main house, and standalone cottages. It's on the hill behind the Weirs Beach strip, overlooking the lake.

View and location are hard to beat, and the porch at the main house was great. The rooms were nothing spectacular, and were a little dated, but it kinda added to the charm. Cabins were not as nice as the NASWA, but I'd recommend it if you can get decent rates. (I think I was there off-season, so it was cheap, and I didn't mind it not being perfect.)

The boardwalk is about 500 feet down the hill, and the beach is at the end of the boardwalk.

Funspot is a little over a mile from the beach, so you can't have all 3 perfectly, but this place is about as centrally located as you can get, and is probably a 20 minute walk to Funspot.

The Weirs Beach Motel and Cottages is good. They are a few hundred feet from the boardwalk on that main road that leads down the boardwalk. And it's walkable to Funspot from there. I've done it after a few adult beverages.

very cool

Thanks for the info. If anyone else has any recommendations, that would be great. Looking for something walking distance to boardwalk and funspot. Hopefully close to or on the beach.

Due to the hill, walking distance to all is not realistic. I did walk from The Baytop Motel to the beach, up the hill to Funspot and back last year twice. But I was jogging and was up,for the challenge. Trust me, you don't want this.

Cedar Lodge is walkable to Funspot, and has a nice view, but not on the beach or easily walkable to beach. Sun Vally Cottages are nearby as well, and they also rent out a few rooms at Cedar Lodge as well. Nice owners, not my cup,of tea. And again not near beach. Baytop.com is walkable to beach but that includes walking on busy road. The Naswa is a bit closer and has some rooms on the water I believe.

Seems like round trip run from Baytop, a bit past Funspot and Sun Valley, and back was over 4 miles.

Beach has half moon arcade, which is ok. Not Funspot for sure. Make sure you make into Funspot but I'd stay down by the beach area and drive to Funspot.

Naswa

I went with the Naswa. Seems like a nice place. Close to the Mt. Washington Boat cruise
and pretty close walk to the boardwalk. Anyone stay at the Naswa? Seems nice.

Sun Valley Cottages is literally across the street from Funspot if you want to be within stumbling distance of the machines. But as others are saying, the walk to the beach is a stretch from there, and does involve a steep hill.
