So I sold a monitor 2 years ago on ebay. It was a red tent monitor with no real burn, worked fine, very nice. I packed it in a monitor box very well as I usually do. So the monitor gets there damaged, the adjustment board in the front cracked lengthwise. From the damage it had to have been dropped from about 3 feet onto a rail or something like it went though a sorting machine since the bottom frame was bent. So the PO takes the monitor back when I have the guy file a claim. The claim took 8 months. I flipped the guy some cash in the mean time so he wasn't out that long and he paid me back after the claim cleared. The monitor was sent January 26th 2008. So here I am having a lazy day at home and someone is pounding on the door. I usually do not answer to uninvited guests so I look out the window and see the postal truck and open the door to see a monitor box! I was just thinking wtf I didn't buy anything! I recognized the box as the one I sent and brought it inside. Sure enough the damaged monitor was there! I mean WOW that's service! Free crap!
It probably works with another adjustment board, looks like the tube and chassis survived, AMAZINGLY since they sent it with almost none of the packing material!
It was as pictured in the box!
I mean I guess it's basically junk to them but sheesh they could have at least had all the sold foam pieces there...
