Funny how arcade game and car hobbies cross over.

Here's my fun car. Haven't gotten to do much on it yet due to work and all that. But just picked it up a couple months ago and already love driving it around

Here's mine. It's been several years since last taking it to the track. My focus has been work and completing the garcade (which is nearly done, now).

Will be shifting attention to this soon. Have a pesky boost leak that needs to be located and repaired. Our youngest son (M18) has recently taken an interest in cars so has been pushing me to get back into it.

Here's mine. 1975 Chevy Vega that my Grandmother bought in 1977 and later gave it to me. You can also see my 1971 Vega and 1997 Nissan pickup in the background.

I didn't remember the Vega coming with cowl induction. Must have been a dealer option 😆
Yeah. Didn't quite come that way. It's a complete tube chassis car with an LS3 and a Tremec 6 speed manual trans.

I've got three automobiles (two of them fun ones) two motorcycles, four pins, and I've lost track of how many video game machines.
Every last one of the damn things needs work at the moment because I'm tied up with shit I would rather not be bothered with!
I really need to teach you how to attract can do repair kind of people in your life, laughs.

Nothing like says. I need this part and the machinist in the group says we can build that of course the 3d model people say we can print you the plastic equivalent.

I still complain that the guy with the cat bulldozer won't let us work on it. Selfish son of a ..... laughs

I'm not as much of a car guy as my dad was (he had many) but here's my 66 mustang I've had since '87. I love working on it. And it's a daily driver. My 86 harley fxrc probably qualifies for this thread too. I inherited it from my dad (I have another harley too). And while I'm at it, my crown jewel of my gun collection that I inherited from my dad which is a Colt 1903 made in 1906, which got me into reloading since it uses obsolete ammo (38 auto).

If it isn't the literal competition for the garage, it's the small part takeover on the benches.
Only place I can find 257 bayonet flashers now for the Space Zap marquee was Vintage Auto.
(yeah I just cleared my garage of pins too so I could park two vehicles there again... priorities)

Similar collection nuttiness and the same passions for historic preservation and resto.
Damned if I'm always working with metal/print/glass trades that do similar tasks, glad to help and say cool (I used to play Centipede do you have one)?!
All for the drive and the play!
Fix fix polish polish vroom vroom!

My dad had a 39 Chevy. I think it might've been his first car. I have a photo of him and a couple buddies in front of it. He was a Chevy guy.
Lets see it! I am the 2nd owner of this one, my grandfather bought it new and here is a pic my mom found a while back after he got back from the war with my grandma talking it camping. He willed it to me when I was 15 and got it when he passed in 1998. I started restoring it but my dad got sick about that time so it has been sitting since, tore apart and I keep getting other projects.
