Really kind of bummed and can't figure it out, my Funhouse will start up and everything, coin up too, but will not start a game when I hit the start button at all... I did check the microswitch and it is good, where should I go next??

Did you check the switch in the test menu or with a meter?

Go into test mode and see if the start switch works and if any other switches aren't working. Knowing if other switches aren't working will help isolate the problem.

We can assume the fuse and power to the switch matrix is good if the credit switches are working.

Check your ball trough switches; looks like there are three micro-switches in the trough. Verify they work in the Test menu (switch edges).

If any one isn't working, check to see if it needs adjustment, is bad, or has a bad diode on it.

All three ball trough switches test ok in the test menu...

The start button does register in the test menu... :/

The switch snaps off of the start button, take it off and then push with your finger - if it works then the start button isn't pressing it right for some reason.

If it still doesn't work, whip out your good old manual and find the switch matrix, then find the row and column your start button is on. See the wire colors ? See all the other switches those same color wires run to ? Follow those wires from switch to switch back to the CPU and find the broken wire or poor connection.

LTG : )
